Officials and representatives from several Egyptian research centers visited the main headquarters of the Channel8 Media Corporation in Slemani on Monday, where they were received by Ahmed Najm, Chairman of the institution's Board of Directors.
Board Chairman Najm emphasized during the meeting that while media outlets are abundant in the region, few are genuinely with the people, conveying facts as they are without a specific agenda.
Najm further underlined that Channel8 aims to be a distinct model and to serve as a screen for all perspectives, a reality it has proven over its nearly three-year history.
Representatives of the Egyptian research centers described the channel's work as an exemplary model in the region after touring both the technical and content creation departments.
Delegates noted that their prior familiarity with Channel8's work and professional reputation from Cairo inspired their desire to witness this media experience up close.
The delegation from the Egyptian research centers has been in Slemani for several days to visit various prominent locations across the province.
One of their primary stops in the Kurdistan Region was to witness the Channel8 institution firsthand.
